I'm not denying that vick is good. It's just that I'm confident that the panthers can beat him eventually. If he ran wild on every team, then I'd worry. The colts seemed to shut him down with ease this year, and they don't even have that great of a defense.

I am confident we can eventually beat him also but I am not all about giving him more weapons.

him getting more offensive weapons won't matter much considering that the KC Chiefs bombed out in the playoffs because of lacking a defense. Funny how the teams that got deep in the playoffs had a good defense, which Atlanta lacks right now.

...yes I know....but I have a hunch that if a bunch of guys on a Panthers message board relizes their defesive weakness' that they would also upgrade those. i agree with the above posters that it is a moot point because of salary cap problems and I actually see the Ravens option much more feasible due to the overall weakness of the Ravens offense. but the possibility of TO or any other star going to Atlanta is scary

Vick has a lot to learn still to be a complete NFL QB. Guys like Manning and Brady can see the field well and make good decisions quickly. Vick hasn’t proven that he can fully utilize the weapons that he has yet. I'm more worried about him as a runner than a decision maker and passer. If he is back there taking the time to try and make reads then thats when we can get to him IMO. The guy is an incredible athlete but until his head catches up to the rest of his body you can stop wringing your hands and pulling out your hair over it. I would be more worried about them getting a high quality elusive RB like Duce Staley in free agency than any wide receiver.

I am just admitting it is a tough situation. You guys are admitting that we consistently lose to a slightly better than average QB, with no offense outside of Price, and a horrible defense....I think that we are better than that.

Yeah, I think so too . . . and you can count on their defense getting better in the very near future. You can also count on Panther/falcon games being tight hard-fought nail bitters for the foreseeable future. I personally have developed a taste for those from this season so I’m glad to have what will probably be one (maybe two if the Bucs don’t sink) of the leagues most exciting rivalries to look forward to for years to come.

I think TO is better off signing with the ravens who have a young QB that needs WR's and they are a few offensive piece away from a Superbowl. They're also around 24 million under he cap or something like that.

You guys are crazy. I want no part of TO let alone once a year but having to face him with Vick twice maybe 3 times a year? No thank you
