    From ESPN -

    >>>"Owens named the Ravens and Falcons as possible options in free agency. Owens is close to Falcons quarterback Michael Vick and likes Atlanta receivers coach George Stewart.

Owens was so upset when Stewart left the 49ers for the Falcons in February, Owens missed a practice at the Pro Bowl"<<<<

I hope that T.O signs with Vicklanta. He would be a constant distraction, and teach MEanity to any players dumb enough to load up their socks with Sharpies. He'll also take a HUGE hunk out of their cap. Yeah, it SHOULD be a great opportunity for both Owens and Atlanta but Mr. “It’s all about ME” will find plenty of ways to fuck it up. GO for it Douchelanta!

i have a great idea. why don't we load up the our rival, who happens to have one of the best QBs (who we can not beat), with lots of supporting talent thereby making them the best team in the NFL. all the while we can hope that the stars will whine enough to cause a slight disturbance....it will be just like Dallas in the mid 90s, we are genius....

Vick=Atlanta Offensive Production, No Vick no production. What have we learned about one dimensional teams like say the Eagles where McNab=Phillie Offensive Production. Someone will place Michael Vicks head up his ass and the Dirty Birds season will be over again. TO on that team will be along the same lines of Keyshaun Johnson a train wreck waiting to happen. The Patriots and Panthers have shown that you don't need the superstars to play in the big game. And the NFL is a copycat league. I hope it opens some of the owners eyes about some of these assholes. Anyway screw Atlanta!

At least he can break off the line of scrimmage from a defensive back. I saw this one coming a mile away considering he went to the UGA.

You think our guys can’t beat the T.Os and Vicks of the league? I do. Do you think that the only way we can ever beat Atlanta is for Vick to be out with an injury? I don’t. Sure, he will make it a lot tougher and Owens (when he isn’t just worried about getting face time or creating a new endzone celebration) would make it tougher still. However, every single time we beat Vick and his teammates in the future it is going to be that much more gratifying. For all of us who want the entire world to recognize the Panthers as the best we won't truly be “the best” unless we beat the best. We have to beat the Vicks and the Owens’ of the league (and after this season I know we can and will). If you or anyone else here wants to pray for Vick or Owens or any elite player to get hurt the week before we play them then that’s your business but be ready to take some heat for looking like a gutless pussy for doing so. I don’t know about the rest of you but I’ll be disappointed as hell if we don’t get a couple of shots at beating the bird shit out of Atlanta next season with Vick healthy and at the helm.

A healthy Morgan, an improving Witherspoon and one more fast LB and we will be ready for His Vickness and his courtage.

I'll have to see if there's anything in the Sunday Atlanta Journal Constitution and let you guys know. There was some specualtion about T.O. several weeks ago, but nothing recently. When it came up then, some were saying that T.O. would not come here b/c the San Fran O.C. came here as the new Atlanta O.C. That is the same O.C. that he openly argued with on the San Fran sidelines several times.

That doesn't mean it won't happen, though. That would be an interesting soap opera to see them two hating each other again, just with different team colors on. :naughty:

The Panthers Defense did their job against Vick the other month. The Vick-led Atlanta offense, playing in what Vick was calling their "Superbowl" only generated 14 points. Yes, the almighty Vick looked dashing in his quick-break speed, but it only garnered 14 points. If the Panthers Offense had its act together in that game, the Panthers would've easily had the game in their pocket. They would've scored more than 14 points, and the Falcon's D wouldn't have had that interception. The Panther D showed it could significantly contain Vick & Co.

I am not saying that we can't...but I am saying we haven't. Vick marched over us every time we have played. We don't play SF enough to know about T.O. but giving a man who can run a man who can catch is going to make a scary combo. Luckily Vicks arm isn't golden. Also having Vick doesnt make them the best. One man is not the entire team. I think we are the best team in the league personally but for right now Atlanta w/ Vick has our number.
