Outlook Express - HELP!!!

So, last week i try to send a file that is way to big to a pal and now my send function always freezes up. I have DSL and it just times out. So, i opened up outlook while i'm not connected and think i would then be able to delete my message. But NOOOO!! it still freezes up. What's a girl to do? I don't want to loose anything i already have.

when you launch outlook, choose work off line.
then go to the outgoing folder and try to delete the email.
It's been about 6 month since I've played with outlook, but when I get home I'l check it out in more detail if this doesn't help.

It's Outlook Express, so you may have to start up, then select 'Work Offline' from the 'File' menu.

Here's a Microsoft article that may help, but be careful - it's registry stuff.

Already I have fear and my heart is pounding. Do I dare try to attempt this? Or just put my head between my legs and sulk as I switch of to MS Outlook. ~sigh~

Doesn't faze me at all to work with the registry.

On second thought, don't try this. It ultimately has to do with a problem you're not having. Sorry for the false alarm.

Well, nah nah nah to you too. The symptoms are similar. Outlook does quit responding when trying to send this particular attachment.

I just changed my mind about sending it since it wouldn't go through and want to delete it.
