    Agreesome.
I wouldn't mind getting a replacement for Rucker this year if the OT/WR situation gets resolved. This would let Rucker play more of situational/mentor role as he winds down his career. I think the D needs one more very good player before it can be dangerous. Supposedly, this is a good draft for DEs.

If Jenkins can work out the issues that crept up during the offseason, I see us sticking with a similar rotation at the other DT with or without Lewis.

I think the weakside of the D needs a player. Whether it's the WLB or DE. I'd prefer it to be the End.

As always there is the neglected FS we need to solidify the secondary.

yeah, it should be the end. The whole thing with the young guys we have, it's fine, but we need a real edge rusher. Vet or rookie, though vet would certainly seem to make more sense to the development of those young guys. Plus, it wouldn't duplicate Johnson, who I feel is an OK run defender right now already.

Plus, I just don't know about putting money into WLB with two very good LB on the team.

In the meantime, we really don't have much else developing on D. Our 4 DT are vets, 2 are FA; all our LB depth is young but doesn't need to play; you can pencil Harris in, and the corners, and it's not like we really want to develop Quentin Teal with a bunch more playing time.

I think we are fine with our linebackers and we have more pressing needs.

My thinking behind the WLB is that if we did get one, we would be quite stout there. If some one got injured we wouldn't suck. As it is now, if Beason or Davis went down, I think the whole D would have a significant drop off.
