trust me I know, but goddamn, I figured he could make it until he got full pads on before he went all Morgan on us.

The Thomas Davis argument notwithstanding, I just don't see any way that Otah ever gets a shot at LT. It would be a horrible, horrible fit considering that he struggled as a pass protector in a mediocre college conference. He just doesn't have the right body type or skills for that. He's a run blocker.

with some disagreement on how he'll do as a pass blocker at RT, agreed he'll be at RT and should be at RT. In the event he takes time to get up to speed, or my biggest concern, physically mature since he's only been playing a few years at a higher level, him being at RT will have advantages as well regarding the TE chip and playing the less-critical rusher. He could certainly have a little more technique work as well, and I'm worried that he's used to having his size overpower guys without great technique...which we can't have. He's gotta do it right.
regardless, he really, really needs to be a RT, as regardless of where any of us fall on his limitations or potential, he's a RT.
