If Marshall had a net, he might have been able to scoop it in. But it's really not his fault.

I've been trying to put it out of my mind, personally. We fucked ourselves in the ass, but thinking about how Carter's hold was called and Peppers can get neckraped without concern? It was obvious Julius was being held. Then again, guys get their hold on Peppers really early, so refs almost don't want to call it. it's the Will Montgomery 'oh shit, I better get that' they're probably looking for. Where Carter's hold comes into play, I have no fucking clue.

TO get back on the bright side issue, Pep is a Demi-god. :notworthy

I saw a lot of not called holds.

I will have to check the replay for the Carter hold call because it doesn't stand out to me. the more i think about it...at least the officials got the fumble/incomplete pass right according to the rules. a correct call on the hold puts the vikings at 3rd and 20 from their own 22. instead, they have 1st and 10 at our 38. damn...40 yards and a first down is huge in that situation.

Agreed that we fucked ourselves. three times inside the 5 yard line and only one TD. the bonehead call on the lateral. we were in position to put the game away without taking a chance in OT.

Jeez...it usually only takes me a few hours to get over a loss. this one still grates my ass. it makes it worse when i made the trip (and spent several hundred dollars) to witness the single biggest fuck up in franchise history.

I was thinking as the game wound down that there was someone going up there and that that would be absolutely the most miserable a fan could be.

for the most part, the trip was ok. i hate it when the game ruins it, but that is out of my control. i won't be back in Minneapolis in the near future...but the city itself is ok. the dome is a piece of crap...rated slightly over the Super Dome in my opinion. the fans were for the most part respectful. but as always, a few assholes decided to show their true colors. There were a few hundred panther fans there. but most of the ones i talked to lived in the area.

i remember the feeling i had in the parking lot of Reliant Stadium after the Super Bowl. the feeling i had yesterday afternoon back to my hotel was awfully similar. not quite as bad...but close enough.

Carter didn't hold at all. I got the feeling that they called it on the wrong guy, but I couldn't figure out who it would have been.

Peppers was assaulted, while Carter hardly touched his man. mass was ready to rip Carter and stopped just short of eating his foot...again
