    Nine current and former Charlotte Panthers players are targets in a steroid probe, sources have told a Columbia newspaper.

    Sources familiar with the investigation told The State newspaper that some of the NFL players were on the Panthers team that competed in the 2004 Super Bowl and were patients of Dr. James Shortt.

    Jason Peter. when he was on HBO real sports he said he would meet doctors at parties and exchange autographed jersery's for drugs. roids or drugs Im sure they have access to lots of things. either way that is one possibility of an encounter with the guy.

    I don't think you can assume that just becuase a player went to USC that they had contact with this guy.

    If I were one of the players and hadn't done anything wrong...I'd make it public to end the gossip. stand up, answer all questions, case closed.
