Mistake #1- Putt is always gracious enough to be present for our games. So gracious in fact that he regularly volunteers to be one who will sit out should there ever be enough players to play. Today happened to be a day when we had enough, 11 in fact, plus builder at back up catcher. I approached Putt about the fact we had an extra, and if he wanted to, he could hang and drink and take pictures. All of which he is top of the line at. Putt said ok, took off his shoes, and started drinking. Again, Mistake #1.
Mistake #2-5- I pitched.
Needless to say, the outcome of the game was not pretty. We lost 14-4, bottom 5 slaughter rule.
Only highlights. Meatpile started this week like he finished last week. The dude is unconscious right now. Once again he started a rally for us when we needed it.
Bear finally came thru with the in betweener we have been waiting on all year. Bear knocked in 3 of the 4 runs. Thnaks Bear.
Our record is 3-3. we win them close and lose them bad.
Next week is the last game of the regular season. Anybody not necessarily ashamed to be seen in our company should come on out. I think the game is at 4.
