Yeah, I don't see Kasay being gone at all, he's still clutch. The perplexing part is that he still has the big leg but his kickoffs are short. He's money from 50 yards, so the short kickoffs are really weird.

I wonder if the punter can kickoff. I would like to keep Morgan if his cap numbers are reasonable. We might get lucky with him, if his head stays clear, we all know he is a good player when he can stay on the field. I think he would be pretty good at WLB.

But our biggest concern, and maybe the first 3 rounds of the draft, should go toward the 3 best DE/DT/OTs we can get. Scrappy FS in the 4th.

Maybe we need to get the kickoffs long snapped and held by Baker.

Yes, he can. Unfortunately, Baker is almost as bad about kicking OOB as Kasay is. :smack:

Gross is resigned to a deal that overpays him.

Wharton leaves and we have to scramble for a LT, meaning Gross has to go back to LT and Bridges ends up back at RT.

Peppers is resigned for a deal comparable to what Freeny got. He is also overpaid and while he does better next year never puts up another double digit sack season.

Colbert and Carter are both gone. Jarrett is named starter going into camp and has to compete with Robinson and some street free agents.

Hoover is back for a cheap deal.

Our plan at safety is to hope Nate Salley can go this year.

We draft a DE to replace Rucker.

Carr is gone. Depth is Jake, Moore, Bas.

    Next year's record 7-9

Foster - is mentioned in about 400 trades between now and the draft none of which actually happen.

    agreed

I have no idea why we would trade him. Either we want him and we keep him, or we don't want him and we cut him. No one's going to trade for a guy who makes what he does to be a part time starter.
