    Carr gone.
    Morgan gone.
    Colbert gone.
    Carter gone.
    Hoover gone.
    Kasay gone.

I'm unable to predict what will transpire with Gross / Wharton.

Jason La Canfora, of the Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins may be interested in Carolina Panthers WR Drew Carter, an impending free agent, during the offseason.

I think Kasay stays as long as he wants, but they'll bring in competition.

I'm hopeful for the first four. Fine with the bottom two, as long as we upgrade. Mark this - signing Tony Richardson, assuming he can still ball like he has, is worth 300-500 yards in rushing offense without him touching the ball.

Redskins just stockpile WR don't they? Granted that smacks of "Drew Carter's agent wants you to think the Redskins want him", but damn. It's still believable.

Prediction - Hangartner goes into camp as a starter.

I had a suspicion that Kasay said something when we went and signed another K.

I predict Peppers gets a new deal, and people bitch about it even though it saves the team cap space for this and possibly next year.

I expect Gross and Wharton to be back, even if it means starving the rest of our offseason needs.

I also expect Danny Crossman to return.

And, yes, I expect Hurney and Fox to sell "Well, we're not as far off as people think, 9-7 won the division and we were 7-9, so we'd like to keep this team intact forever and ever and ever."

Let's just PRAY they don't stand pat with what they have, like last offseason.

If we bring both tackles back, we need better interior play. I'd expect Hartwig or Wahle to go, and some upgrades inside.

Which isn't an awful theory, I just don't think that staying pat at OT when we're able to force ourselves into change, is a good idea.
I still think Wahle is an asset overall, last couple games aside. But if we can get a guy with more push, and it means Hangartner isn't a starter, OK.

I think they will give Morgan a chance to come back and play outside. He hasn't sustained a concussion in nearly 2 years, and if his speed is back, I think they'll give him a chance to start outside and backup in the middle. What is his cap value for this upcoming season?

I expect the WR corps to be sans Carter and Colbert. Both have had ample opportunity and both have done nothing with it. Time to move on.

According to the papers, the Panthers are going to try to emulate 2003's style of play; Expect them to get a big, bruising RB to move the chains and another mid-level, proven receiver. I think they'll cut Foster to accommodate the new RB to pair with Williams. What FAs or players in the draft (potentially) would fit into this equation?
