I think it's funny when Collin worries about "how he's treated" when he's openly slinging insults. Dude, you know what you're doing, so don't pretend you're not. I know you got an issue with me, but that does seem to be the only reason you actually talk at any of my boards.

Yes, I've pimped Davis. Putting him around 15, not around 25, that's called an opinion. It doesn't mean I'm in love with him, and honestly, you always think I'm in love with, or hate, pretty much everything. That really ends up leaving it as a trite way of trying to take away from the actual argument to become personal.

    >>Elton Brown is a franchise guard if there ever was one

I don't find him to be better than, say, Steinbach, Faneca, or any of the first guards that have gone in the 25-35 range and been pro Bowlers. He's not a top 15 in my opinion, but that's the neat thing about being allowed an opinion.

Visible evidence? I've said I like him, and wouldn't mind him being picked, but when have I ever started a Thomas Davis thread? again, you seem to think I love or hate everyone, and I'm honestly not that emotionally based. Hell, 300+ Colin Branch posts in two days, and I've barely mentioned him.

#1) Where are my "openly slung insults"?

#2) I'm not worried about "how I'm treated" and never have been. I didn't bitch after someone (I forget who and don't care to look it up) immediately started trashing me the previous time I came here. I've made this point repeatedly, so I think you'd get it by now, but I perceive your behavior as hypocritical. Whether or not you or anyone else agrees that it is, this perception is the biggest part of what I find extraordinarily annoying about you.

    >> Yes, I've pimped Davis.

Cool, then my opinion that your pimping may have something to do with your frequent bashing of Branch wouldn't appear to be in any way questionable. I'm pleased that you now retract that opinion. It's a step in the right direction.

    >> I don't find him to be better than, say, Steinbach

Steinbach falling that far was a travesty which we all acknowledged at the time, but I think Brown is better than him anyway. He's more in Hutchinson territory, although even stronger and more athletic than Steve. But in the general sense, yes I'm perfectly fine with you thinking that Brown would be just very good and not dominant. That's not my issue with you.

    >>when have I ever started a Thomas Davis thread?

I wouldn't know. Like I said, I've only been here twice. What I have noticed is that every draft or Branch thread I seem to read, you inevitably bring up Davis. I grant the possibility that the threads I noticed may be the only ones on this entire board where you express a love for Davis but I doubt it, and furthermore, you just admitted that you do pimp Davis. Go ahead and disagree that your opinion of Davis influences your opinion on Branch, but you look irrational when you alternately say that you do and don't hype Davis.

    >>you seem to think I love or hate everyone

I think you have irrational tendencies whereby you express a particular love (re: Seifert) or hate (re: Henning) for a particular person that goes beyond the bounds of what can be reasonably supported by facts and/or observations, but no one does that for "everyone." I just think it's something you do from time to time, a part of your personality. You disagree, which is fine. The chances of me ever changing your mind are slim to none, I only bring it up because I think it happens to be true and because it raises questions about the validity of your opinion on that particular subject.

Oh, and touching on that hypocrisy thing once more, that whole "being allowed an opinion" thing rings hollow when everyone can see you ripping @$$holes at the beginning of this thread.

Ahh, caught this. As long as you realize your motivations are very emotionally based, and most likely biased because of it. It's funny, because you spent all that time telling me how I was flawed for that sorta thing.

If we're getting a corner, we may as well wait for the 2nd, where IMO value is better. Honestly, I'd like a nickel corner with PR skills, which I've said to death already, but if Manning was the nickel, we could do worse. But I have Corey Webster higher, as well as Rogers and Rolle each above them, and Jones around there as well. Of course, you assumed that when I said "value better in 2nd".

    >>#1) Where are my "openly slung insults"?

You find that personal attacks aren't insulting, especially when they're out of nowhere. So in your perspective you wouldn't see it.

    >>I'm not worried about "how I'm treated" and never have been.

You did say "Boy should I know better than to get into another $#!+fest with Magnus, where I will undoubtedly be accused of many things"

suggesting you felt like you'd get told you were this and that (unfairly, IYO) but you know that saying everything you do is to get under my skin.

    >>It's a step in the right direction.

Nope. You interpreted it as that, but I've also said a number of times that a lot of FAs and draftees are better than Branch. I've, in no way, said that Davis at 14 is necessity, and I've never thought it had to do with anything of Branch. You're going to see what you want, which is something to use against me, but you've always worried about that more than the argument.

    >> yes I'm perfectly fine with you thinking that Brown would be just very good and not dominant. That's not my issue with you.

I know. You gotta invent stuff.

    >>when have I ever started a Thomas Davis thread?

    >I wouldn't know.

You suggested you could be wrong, but had all this proof. Which means you're using 3 year old judgements and re-applying them every single time.

    >>and because it raises questions about the validity of your opinion on that particular subject.

And it always just happens to have something to do with something you feel strongly about. Unintended bonus, I'm sure.

    >>when everyone can see you ripping @$$holes at the beginning of this thread

I get and I give. I get shit thrown on me about Deon Grant and everything else, and I give. Sometimes I give first. Sometimes I rip into a guy who has a statistic wrong. Sometimes I rip into a guy who made up a statistic. You can be pissy and want to "make me pay" for annoying you, which is a crock of shit way of trying to put your irrationalities on me, but in the end he still made up a statistic, and in the end, you're still sniping at the end of a heated thread.

I really hate to be the prick and end this in a personal sissy fight between myself and the man who wants to have my children, but this shit's been done, both with Branch, and with Collin.
