Doug Evans had 14 PD just in 2001. 18 in 00. He had 14 in 1999, and 9 in an injury shortened season in 98 (I'd want to be injured in that shitty of a season, too). Now I'm not sure who invented the type of math you're using, but punch them in the fucking mouth for me.

I don't know why I bother arguing with people who can't even get basic stats right, much less grasp the point that by using Evans, I was clearly saying that statistics don't mean shit.

What I meant to say was PD compared to thrown at ratio. Now you do the math son. And you will see Branch comes out on top.

My argument is for Branch being a solid safety. It has nothing to do with Grant, why you brought him into our argument I have no idea. So Minter thinks Grant is solid too? I guess they are even then.

Because every time anyone says anything about Branch, here comes Grant-bashing. Five posts up, Grant was mentioned.

And no, it's not "even". Minter said Branch has heart, Minter worried about and talked with Grant about staying for a month before he left.

 

He quoted statistics that were easy to look up. He didn't look them up, obviously.

 

The heart quote was talking about how well Branch was playing. Not only does he have the physical tools, but he has the intangibles to become a good safety.
