Sometimes people have a hard time with thinking their children aren't the best at everything ever, and then sometimes they over-argue a point about a safety on the internet.

Some people are bitter when their father moves away, and resent their stepfather because of it.

As usual, when you can't actually defend your own guy, you've gotta pretend it's about something else.

That's exactly what it is about. You hate Colin Branch because you loved Deon Grant. Providing no insight as to why Grant is almighty above Branch.

Other than a thread a fucking week, in which I clearly show why Branch isn't good and that even though Grant has nothing to do with the fact that Branch sucks, that he clearly had better statistics.

But hey, if you can't win an argument in one thread, pout and drag it to another thread.

I figured I put up a decent argument on why Branch is solid.

I know I'm probably beating a dead horse here, but did he really?

    2004 Season:

    Deon Grant
    16 GS 50 TKLS 2 INT 4 INT YDS 6 PASSES DEFENDED

    Colin Branch
    15 GS 41 TKLS 3 INT 79 INT YDS 5 PASSES DEFENDED

One less start by Branch, 1 more interception, 75 more int yards, 1 less pass defended. I know that Branch had 9 less tackles, but it doesn't seem like Grant clearly had better stats.

He wasnt white on rice. The line was never meant to be taken seriously and not to mention I said "solid", as in average, about a million times in the 75 post each where we went back and forth. The facts support my opinion. He got better, he played average, and will only get better when his tackling improves.

If I cant say white on rice, then Dont say a player sucks, when in fact he does not suck just to gain people on your cause for wanting to upgrade a position. Can we upgrade? Yes. but can Branch play safety decent in the NFL, Damn Straight.

You compare him to Doug Evans. Yet Branch had more PDs then Evans ever had as a panther. And your defense for that is they threw it right to him and he just happen to stumble under that spot. Sorry Branch we cant give you credit for being where you were suppose to and helping out in zone because the QB thought you were a WR on his team.

Yes. Grant had better stats in the same position with the same team.
As a matter of fact, he had better stats than any other pass defender over the time he started.
I know you gotta defend your little friend to the death, and I'm sure you're glad he got those two gimme INTS v/s AZ so you could even have anything to say, but please give it a rest. Next thing you know you'll be arguing he's better than Minter.
