    Agreed, but is that Maser's fault, or Simmons'? Both? Neither?

    Gross is an enigma to me. He's less aggressive now than he was as a rookie (or so he seems in my very limited perception). He's a good technique blocker, but gives up way too much ground. He's talented, but doesn't seem to be improving much.

    Gross' fault. In the end he's the one resistant to it.

    Which is fine. It'll keep us from signing him when he's up and we'll go get a guy with some strength.

    I didn't like that we couldn't convert from a yard out, but you might be able to attribute some of that to the fact that once Weinke was in, we showed no inclination to pass (at least not in the first series).

    Yeah, Gross has got to take it upon himself to improve his strength. Hes got long, lanky arms, so its not like he'll ever look really strong...but he doesnt play strong enough.

    And yeah, well resign him for big bucks, lol. I would bet my house....
