i think that competition would be good, but scared? why do you think that?

who would you bring in? and at what cost? the guys on the roster now are dirt cheap. you get what you pay for.

this is something that's got to be addressed. there's a chance jake may not be here next season -- regardless of the extension.

we brought in a guy last year who had started in this league. Moore's clearly a guy they want to develop.
So we didn't bring in Leftwich this year, the only realistic option. Is he hurt yet? We didn't bring in anything else, either. All that money we had sitting around and all.

scared, unwilling, unable......something because we haven't

Exactly....we don't have any good options, so we've put ourselves in a position to have to keep riding a stumbling horse...exactly what is frustrating.....nothing we can do now, but we fucked up not thinking ahaead

Larry is right, the right side of the line got blown up and confused when their Dlinemen swapped spots with the linebackers. Jake had no time.

That's an excellent way of putting it.

I dont' know. One might try to argue Favre at the end in GB when he was giving out picks like Halloween candy, but even that wasn't as bad.

Despite what I posted yesterday, so do I. I'd much rather Jake go out on a positive note, especially considering how he came in.

valid point and yes, a loss is almost always a multiple blame situation .. . however -
JAKE IS STILL MAKING REALLY BAD DECISIONS. Inevitably there is some TV or Radio putz after jake has had a bad game who says “jake needs to have a short memory and blah blah blah”

NO! His memory is already microscopically short already. He obviously can’t remember basic shit coaches have to be telling him every day, like -
. . . . don’t stare down your target, take the checkdown when your primary reads aren’t open, don’t try and force the ball, throw the ball away if no one is open, at all costs protect the ball when you’re about to get ass raped, etc etc etc!!!
All the other factors for suckage aside . . . when the ball is snapped to Delhomme everything is in HIS hands (unfortunately) and if a guy is reckless with the ball then he should take the majority of the heat for turnovers.
