offensive coordinator jeff davidson

I'm harking on the screen pass a bit but we suck at at. I also was able to call every time we ran the screen. 3rd and long. If i can call it so can everyone on the Eagles.
Davidson has done a pretty decent job at varying his play calling but sometimes its pretty obvious. I do miss the 3rd and long draw, and I imagine Fox will be insisting on that a bit more.

 

Why watch film when you are going to do the same shit you've always done? It got him to the Super Bowl once....it must work.

 

Look on the bright side....at least we still have 3rd and long alot...that hasn't changed.

 

Putting him in the booth won't help. Y'all do have to realize we have two guys up there.

more emphasis on the TE. With that many blitzes inside, more outside runs. more protection on deep balls, more combo routes.

Until he settles down. How about some better playaction? A pump fake?

 

Jake has never been good at misdirection of any sort. Maybe he should work on that.....fucking Rothlisberger pump fakes and everyone on the field buys it.

Yes, and we have the guys to do that and do it well.

I could see a pump fake working beautifully with Smitty's acceleration and agility.

 

that dumpoff was there on more than one occasion. jake needs to take what he's given. his long ball is shit now. might as well make them try to play the dumpoff and maybe he'll actually get single coverage on a deep route.

 

I heard the fumble was on a screen. Lazy linemen.

If I were Jeff Davidson, former OL, I would bust on the OL coach, and every guy that played in the game.

Wilting under pressure isn't new, or unique to Davidson. Remember what GB did to us on opening home game, MNF?

But anyway, I would be chewing some offensive ass, players and coaches alike. And making everyone feel more responsible for the Jake booing we all know is coming.

 

Run more plays that get rid of the ball quickly. The longer he stands back there the less likely something good is going to happen. He will either get sacked and fumble or try to force it. He does not know when to just throw the ball away. He needs some easy stuff to get some confidence back.

 

We have that...it's called "The Fumble"
