    Carolinas Medical Center. So far so good at noon report. First part of surgery 3-4 hours plus so that's not done yet. They're doing in two parts and 7+ hour total. Last night talking to him on the phone (I've had a cold otherwise I'd be there but he DOESN'T need my germs now!) I thought about it being the last time I heard his wonderful voice and just lost it. Fortunately his first career was a minister and someplace is a sermon on tape which we're hunting for like mad. Thanks guys.
