I wish this didn;t happen the same day as the Hossa deal. THis is HUGE and all I can think about is Hossa's bitch slap. We got this guy for 6 more years too.....

I didn't play the video, so I assume you are talking about Orpik.

Pens are doing fine in free agency--as long as you keep your nucleus together, you'll be in great shape. Hossa only did a 1 year deal, and he was a hired gun last season at that. He'll be missed, but not like Malkin would be had he not re-upped.

True, Malkin any day over Hossa. I assumed the Pens would have a down year this year after the long season, and having to start in Europe and all that and I was resigned to the fact it wouldn't be a great year. Now, I want to win to shove it down Mary Ann Hossa's throat.

Screw off Hossa! I honestly thought Fleury was going to be the one to leave. Glad he's not!

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury to a seven-year, $35 million contract.

It could have been so storybook if Jagr signed with the Pens. He seems to really need fan approval, he could have gone from villain to hero in the Burgh.
