    looks like i picked the wrong time to upgrade my card... :(

    i think i'll upgrade my computer when the pci-express stuff gets sorted out.

    Yeah, I'm anxious to see a head to head comparison with the new geforce and the next ATI card.

    Of course the 9800XT and FX5950 Ultra seem like cheap mainstream cards now, they're last generation. A fucking playstation looked cheap when ps2 came out, no?

    There are plenty of other hardware sites that make the same basic point. Wait and see what ATI drops in a month or so before blowing $400 on a card that may be better or worse than what comes out in a few weeks. I don't care much for Tom either, my hardware page of choice is hardocp.
