Now I know why Bojangles is so heavily featured in BOAS and Jake is in so many ads:

    Bojangles' secures $70 million refinancing
    The Charlotte Observer

Falfurrias Capital Partners, a Charlotte-based private equity firm, today said it obtained a $70 million refinancing for Bojangles' Restaurants Inc., a move that reduces debt and lowers interest costs for the fast-food restaurant chain.

A banking group led by Bank of America Corp. and Wells Fargo & Co. provided the senior-term loan and credit facility in the transaction. BB&T Corp. and Regions Financial Corp. also participated.

Falfurrias, founded by former Bank of America Chairman Hugh McColl Jr. and the bank's former chief financial officer Marc Oken, bought a controlling interest in Charlotte-based Bojangles' in September 2007 as part of an investment group that also included Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson.

“This favorable transaction, secured despite a difficult credit market, gives Bojangles' the flexibility of using its strong cash position to further reduce its debt,” Oken said in a statement.

Privately-owned Bojangles' said it posted strong earnings growth on a 7 percent increase in sales in the first half of this year. Last year, the restaurant chain said it had systemwide sales of $608 million, which included results from 276 franchised locations.

I doubt he gives them any discount on advertising. He's got that setup nicely.

Pretty damn touchy ain't you? The article you posted clearly indicated (as I bolded) that the transaction occured almost 2 full years ago. Maybe a few people were aware of it? Maybe? It wasn't a secret when it happened. I'll admit to stretching when I said "most" but I'm quite surprised that you and others just became aware.

And touchy bitches like you are why some people like me are on here. Pure entertainment.
