I'm surte I put my foot in my mouth at least once with offers, but the way I look at it I start high and work down. Meaning why should I give up equal talent (in my mind at least) if he may value a position or player more than I do?
If he doesn't like the first offer I would hope he would counter. As far as old trade proposals? Hell they got dumped months ago.
