It's almost 3 pm and I haven't seen where we've made any cuts yet. Anybody heard anything yet?

True. I guess I should have known that we always wait until the last minute to do anything, i.e. dumping Weinke 7 days before the first game last season and starting Peete.

We always wait until the last minute to announce them. The fax to the league office probably is timestamped 3:59:59. Anyways here's a link from NFL.Com where you can follow along and see who gets cut from each team.

    guess you're right

charlotte.com about to post it momentarily

    EDIT

    panthers.com finally updated
The Carolina Panthers released 16 players, including kick returner Michael Bates (24), running back Dee Brown (22) and kicker Shayne Graham (11), and placed two others on injured reserve to reach the mandatory 53-player roster limit for the regular season. Bates set a Panthers record with five consecutive Pro Bowl selections from 1996-2000. Brown posted 27 carries for 122 yards at Cleveland last year in his first NFL start. Graham led Carolina in scoring with 60 points in 2002.

That was a bold move by the front office to keep Kasay over Graham.

I guess no big suprises although I am somewhat shocked they would cut Dee Brown.
