give us your pick and make your case if you feel so inclined.

    mine......adrian beltre

leading the league in homers, 2nd in hits, top 5 in pretty much every offensive category. plays an excellent hot corner. can't really argue against bonds as his #'s are insane as well, but i give the nod to beltre because of the defense.

I think with Pujols's cold September, that hurts him. Especially with other All Stars around you, that disease catches quick. Good player, but MVP? I dont think so.

Bonds will probably win it, I hope not, and I think not for this reason. Sure his numbers are great, but his team wont get into the playoffs, and he didn't basically have a team ride his back like the man that I think is the MVP did.

Beltre. Beltre is your MVP because the Dodgers would seriously be in 3rd if not 4th place in the NL West without this guy. When a player has this much impact on rank of a team, he's the Most Valuable Player.

i think you are a bit confused with the giants. they are tied for the wild card.

the giants are more dependent on barry than la is on beltre. barely tho.

i'm not trying to be an ass, just throwing out some argumentative points. hell, i agree with you on beltre, just not in the same ways.

Yup it has to be Bonds. He's seen a hell of a lot less pitches then any of the other contenders and his numbers are still on par if not better than everyone elses.
