NHL playoffs

Time to suck it up and get on the pond.

It seems Wesley after supposedly going to be out for 2-4 weeks, is going to be a man and play anyway. When it's playoff time you have to be close to dead to not play.

Also Carolina is getting no respect at all heading into the playoffs this year. We took NJ to 6 games last year when we were supposed to be swept and now we play them again and still nothing.

Until the Canes win another playoff series, which they haven't done since 1986 as the Hartford Whalers, they won't get any props . . . Which I can understand: Respect must be earned, and the Canes haven't won/gone deep into the NHL playoffs enough to get that yet . . . Hopefully, that will start with this series !!!!

Wesley is more of a man than most of the wussies we have playing for us...I'm glad to see him suck it up and get back in his skates. I kinda figured he would...he's known for coming back ahead of time.

It will be a cold day in hell before anyone gives the Canes ANY credit going into the playoffs...can't blame them though. We need to stop playing PUSSY hockey and get tough or we are never gonna make it all the way.

Langdon is our only "real" tough guy and half the time Mo scratches him and we're gonna need him to keep an eye on that rat bastard Stevens.

The devils ain't what they used to be...*sniff sniff* gee I miss Arnot...NOT...so if we can find a way around Marty and their neutral zone trap, we might have a chance.

God I miss Chiasson...

So Puckbunny - Do you think the Devils will try to beat the crap out of the Canes again this year?

It was a good series last year but the Devils really laid on the heavy hits as I recall.

I don't watch much hockey on TV but I get hooked into the playoffs every year. Playoff hockey is sooo much better than the regular season.

Rookie....LMAO Now that just ain't right!! ALL hockey is good....but...I will agree that some teams step it up during the playoffs which makes for a better game to watch, but to REALLY appreciate it....you have to watch all season long!!


Now...hell yes I think they are gonna try to rough us up...its all Stevens knows how to do...but I will admit he seems to be behaving some better since last season. I'd love to see him get the shit beat outta him and be out the rest of the playoffs. I just hope our guys don't make that high on the list of things to do...I'd rather see them win, than have payback. And I think if they really try...they can do it.
