It's never good when you have to worry about your QB's mental stability.

Or maybe he's just bipolar. That doesn't mean he can't improve as a player, but I don't think you can expect Shula to correct his personality.

I see a guy who's either very happy or very depressed. Some mild form of bipolar or a different personality disorder wouldn't surprise me. Either way, that's not something you can coach out of somebody.

I get that people would prefere to hear the more text book Andrew Luck cliched responses. I get that you want your QB to calmer under pressure situations and not display his emotions so candidly. Some of it may also be a reflection of Riveras personna, he talks too much and is overly candid also.

I see a very young kid that was used to winning and depended largly on his superior physical attributes to do so. In the NFL, he needs more help from surrounding pieces to achieve that same success. Keep in mind going into year 3 he is still younger than guys like Russell Wilson, I think he has plenty of potential to mature and become more professional.

Ive known some Bi-polar dudes, he'd have been in all sorts of legal troubles with the sort of cash he has, blowing it on strippers and other self indulgent behavior. He just needs to mature some, not spending 3 years as a starter in college was a disservice to himself. He truly is learning on the job here in Carolina.

I see confirmation of more than few stereotypes I formed about asshole jocks in high school being proven no more no less
