Texans picked us apart across the middle of the field, also the guy they drafted to return punts hasn't showed me shit...There is no excitement on kickoffs, I like Goings for special teams but he ain't getting the job done.We need better starting field position.

Tampa's defense is back. They'll be a stern test for us.

Of course, Baylor University would probably be a stern test for us.

to be fair, though, Kevin Steele was the one to build that dynasty, and it's time we recognize him for it.

Yeah, he had a pretty good grip on that program. They didn't choke very often.

The Panthers are really, really bad at building a roster both through Free agency and the draft.

I think we do okay in free agency, but I am starting to get frustrated at our draft classes. Next to Marshall, there hasn't been a second round pick worth a damn. I believe Jarrett will be a good player eventually. Problem is, instead of cutting Colbert to make room for him, we cut Keyshawn.

Regarding the next three games, we definitely need to bring a playoff-type intensity to each one. We can either take command of this division, or put ourselves in a deep hole. This stretch of games will define who we are.

who did we pickup this year in free agency that you're pleased with?

I mean, Cooper is our best acquisition so far. Ball looked useful but that's a different situation. The draft should be OK, but sure, it'd be great if Jarrett was blowing instead of our current clowns because at least he'd be gaining experience. And it'd have been nice if Kalil wasn't getting blown up, too. I think that pair and Beason will be useful, as well as Johnson down the line. I'm more worried about these other drafts that should've netted us playmaking by now.

I am pleased that we did not spend a bunch of money on crappy players in free agency. Not giving big money to another Kemo is a plus.

Totally ignoring safety until Minter was decided to retire will continue to hurt us. That is my biggest problem with our off season. If they had brought in a solid safety then it would have been good enough.
