Best day of passing a future tight end has ever had in the NFL.

Purr has said it now too, though, and more are suggesting the same. I'm trying to slow down the runaway coach, as I don't want people deciding he's a bum either when he has a bad game next week against Green Bay.

Yeah he's going to be 0-2.

The new offensive philosophy was encouraging but I don't know what to expect next week. Well, what we can do to score I mean. We couldn't run against zona, I shudder to think of what it'll be like with Raji in the middle, and we'll be playing from farther behind, earlier.

I'll watch, but I bet I'll wish I had gone fishing.

I think meat said "can be." Which is different from "will be." Or guaranteed to be.

Arizona sucks donkey balls. I get that. He isn't the first rookie QB to face a NFL defense that sucks balls. None of them put up 422. It's a hopeful sign. And we haven't had a lot of hope.

It's logical to expect a bludgeoning from the Packers next week. They are the champs. They put 42 up on the Saints. They should beat us, and handily.

Last year, we were lucky to beat David Carr and John Skeleton QB teams. We got spanked by Sam Bradford.

    This is better.

Nope. I said that he's proven he CAN be. Doesn't mean he will.

The idea that he CAN be is much better than many gave him prior to yesterday.

agreesome. anybody catch Bradshaw's comments/feelings about Newton yesterday, Fox's pregame show? Like him, most have given cam no can at all.

Still, could turn out to be < Jake, who the heck knows really? Yesterday was a great start for him, next week might be a better perspective getter. Somewhere in the middle, assuming he blows next Sunday, is probably the true reality to expect at least for this season.

Is there a clip around that shows Newton trying to take Washington`s head off after that interception?

He absolutely has not proven that he "can be" either.
