Could this set the table for how the draft plays out in regards to trades and pick values?

Does having a more equitable pay system make the #1 pick more trade-able? And if so, what value may the pick now hold in a revised value chart?

Jason Cole stands by his source(s). And even if it gets tweaked before it becomes "official" the meat of the agreement makes sense.

 

the terms referenced here sounds like it references the other suggestions I've seen.
surprised the owners went for a four year top pick situation. That alone should lower values.

I'm sure someone will give real values soon enough but I think the deal was that the PA's version of contracts would net a $35 million #1 overall instead of $60. Dropping it to four years probably lessens that to a 4 year, $30 mil type deal instead of 6 years, $72.

 

If they don't agree on 18 game season, retirement benefits, and overall money distribution, rookie scale won't matter!
I'm so sick of this good news, then bad news the next day bargaining agreement updates.

Im calling it right now, "these assholes" aren't gonna get it done by Friday!
