New Roof

    Fucking roofers have descended on Charlotte like a plague of gypsies. A lot of houses in the hood (newer than mine) were getting new roof's so I decided to find out WTF was going on.

    At the end of the day, come to find out, turn around and now my 12yo roof sustained "hail damage" :soda: which resulted in me filing an insurance claim, getting a new roof (architectural shingles) and pocketing almost $200.

    Not using the gypsies contactor but going with local guy who I've known for years. :bottomup:

    We had bad hail twice in Apr/May. Wasn't wanting to get involved with some fly by night roofers and wasn't sure insurance company would give me the time of day. I called them up and they sent an adjuster over and he found a few spots that needed attention so he wrote it as needing a new roof. Cut me a check for 5k and said they would pay the difference after I got several estimates on my own. Now to call around and find a good one thats been around a while

    Im using Mike Mullis - 704-770-5936. I've known the guy for years and he's honest and reasonable. Give him a call.

    How I/you can tell...???? He doesnt advertise!

    Nice and thanks for sharing own problem.
    The built of new roof increase your home value and if you sale your house real estate agent give more money and you got high price.
