    I think UNC may have recruited him while he was pretty young. After his brothers botched stint at Wake, there was no way he was going to a marginal program.

    Yeah, I don't think he ever verbaled to Iowa or seriously considered Chapel Hill. Was following him for a while and never heard of either.

    Yeah, you never heard it because it never happened. Holding a grudge against him because of something he never did is obviously pretty silly. According to pretty much everyone, he's a really good kid, so there's no reason not to like him.

    Whatever Leak did, it can't be nearly as bad as what John Fox did in Oakland.

    It's so horrible, I can't even tell you guys. I just hope Fox learned his lesson and is a better person for it.

    Fair enough, but Chris Leak is well liked in these parts, so not only do you look like a fucking retard for your idiotic opinion, but it won't sit well. It doesn't with me.

    I don't care about most of these players as people one way or the other. Leak was the consensus first pick around some parts because he was a name people recognized and any idiot can watch the championship game and pretend they're evaluating talent. He just wasn't that good. Whether he deserves not to be in the league, I don't know, but he was certainly behind a lot of other quarterbacks that have a chance to be something.
