might not without a few weeks off, which won't happen until we're done. That ligament is stretched out and won't tighten up as long as it's being stressed. Had that problem with both my knees. Hell they never tighened back up for that matter.

Lol, me too. Yeah, I watched every snap. Every snap he took. I think it was a pretty breathtaking game. If that's the definition of bad, I hope he fucking SUCKS in the playoffs.

It was the greatest game ever played by any athlete in any sport.

He wasn't perfect, but over 80+ plays, I don't know of a player that will be perfect. Brees moved him (and others) around with his ball fakes. And it is Drew Brees, so you have to respect that.

It was interesting watching the game a little closer than normal. I've never watched Brees that closely, but he uses subtle ball fakes to move defenders around and create windows or favorable matchups.

Brees is obviously a hall of famer. As much as I can't stand him, he's incredible to watch. I'm elated the defense was able to confuse him as well and lure him into throwing a few interceptions.

    Sometimes here, sometimes there
I don't think LK had a 'bad game'. After watching the replay 2x, I noticed he might have been out of pos a coupla times and not the best cover guy a coupla times (same with TD). But even the best LBs are not a Revis in every coverage or a Butkus with a TFL on every running play. Definitely not both. You can't expect a LB not to bite sometimes on a play fake, yet a TFL on every run play at the same time. It may have not been his best game (stats not considered), but shit. I'll take an int from him and a good defensive game like that every game, especially seeing as how our O didn't have shit for TOP and the D was on the field all day against a quality O.

Our O is who needs to get their shit together....and fast

It wasn't, at all. I posted the data on how many yards had been gained on his tackles and gave specific examples of plays where he struggled. You haven't provided anything whatsoever to back up your contention.

    Yes, he did.

He wasn't on Jimmy Graham much at all actually, and as noted, he didn't have a single pass defensed credited to him the entire game aside from the interception, which was a great play. Kuechly gave up a lot of New Orleans' pass completions.

Thomas Davis made that tackle, not Kuechly.

It was supposed to be both. The design was bracket coverage with Kuechly underneath, only Luke came forward on the snap, stumbled, and ended up covering no one at all.

*sigh* I already said that I posted my analysis after watching the replay. Right after the game I didn't think he had played badly, it was only after being able to watch every play more closely that I saw that he had so many tackles in large part because he was getting abused in coverage.

Purr, I don't understand why you keep arguing with me when you always lose and people make threads making fun of the absurd things you've posted. Remember trashing McDermott? Remember asking if Cam was the worst QB in the league? Remember arguing with the entire board that the 4-3 was a better run defense than the 3-4 even after multiple people posted statistics proving you wrong? You don't know football. At all. It's cool that you're a fan, but you have well below average understanding of the game and shouldn't be constantly arguing with people who do possess that knowledge. If you feel the urge to argue, go do it with people on your level.

He did have a bad game. Making a lot of downfield tackles in the passing game is not a good thing. It means you gave up a lot of completions. He wasn't great in that game against the run either.

I know Charles Johnson had the flu a bit over a week ago as well.

I don't know if they showed it on tv, but Brees sure gets his panties in a wad when he's sacked a lot. I never saw him fussing at linemen, just slamming the ball down and body language like he wanted to throw a tantrum. Made me remember he's done that before. Yes, he's a damn good QB, but he sure was being Miss Pissy Pants a few times.
