Simply by virtue of having the best uni's in the NHL, the Hawks need to be relevantly good.

 

They just finished a 3 day Blackhawks Convention in Chi-town on Sunday. Apparently they had sold all 8000 tickets for the event, players on hand with coaches and such.

TONS more excitement around this team this year than in decades past.

Imma buy NHL Centre Ice again this year.

 

Plus they made it official with the Winter Classic being in Chicago between the Hawks and Wings.

 

and you guys just signed scotty bowman to a front office job.

looking forward to that outdoor game...not sure how it will be on TV will all of the college football on Jan 1...might be a good excuse to do new years eve in chicago.

SERIOUSLY thinking about going to that game.

Don't know how much Bowman will influence things, but it can't be bad.

 

I've already heard tickets will be near impossible for that game

just need to talk scotty into coaching....I think he just wanted to work with his son who is in the b-hawks org. maybe he can steal away some of the wings European scouts....they seem to be right much more than they are wrong.
