    Speaking of the Prissy Pirate, KFFL says that he and Simms are going to battle it out to be the starter this coming season.

    Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reporting for the Sporting News, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set for a real battle at quarterback come training camp. Neither incumbent QB Chris Simms nor newcomer QB Jeff Garcia has been given any assurances they will start, so the two will fight it out for the top job during the offseason workout program and training camp.
