17:16 PT: The Carolina Panthers have re-signed OG Jamar Nesbit to an undisclosed contract. He had been tendered at $1.227M for one-year.

I'll bet we did this to reduce this year's cap figure.

I hadn't thought of that move. Interesting to see what the numbers shake out to be.

Probably a three year deal, $3 mil to $4.2 mil area, $300k or so in bonus, saving roughly $600k

Glad to see that. I thought Nesbit made good progress last year, how bout you fellas?

I like Nesbit's stability. He doesn't wow you with his play, but he has consistently improved each year. If he doesn't geta good block he at least gets in the way...better than or 2000 line ever contemplated.
We could do MUCH worse.
