    What will the Hornets do?
You'll notice fuck it up is not one of the options.

Scoot and Miller are a tug of war among the talking heads as to who should be picked for Hornets.

If I were Mitch, I would see what I could get for Melo, he won't be here in two years anyway, and get both guys at 2 and 3.

I say this as if I am interested in the NBA like I used to be, I am not. But, it will fill a Thursday evening until late July

Portland would have to want Lamelo for that to happen.
So you're saying get rid of Ball now because you don't think he'll want to stay in Charlotte in 2 years?
So get rid of the only star to try to get two pigs in a poke.
Not sure how the new majority owners would feel about that.

He is leaving, get something for him. No use trying to build around him.

    Or

They trade the pick for Zion and hope Jenny Craig can do something for him. Then maybe Lamelo and Zion can make something happen before both are on IR

I'm not even convinced that Zion even cares about playing competitive ball anymore.
As for Lamelo leaving, then that is just another reason to draft Scoot.

Agree Scoot is the way to go.

Good to see a good number of the players with their families there with them. I'm a tarheel fan so fuck duke, but the Lively story is pretty awesome and I wish him well.
