National anthem

You deleted the awesome alternate '03 yearbook that I can't find anywhere else.

 

This thread went way off course from the original destination and became a classic, well done boys and girls.

 

When I'm at home watching an away game, I don't stand.

 

Do you stand when you are physically at any event where the anthem is played/sung/whatever?

 

The Trumpster said the players who kneel should be out of the country....
Fans should start kneeling in the stands?

 

I think if the media didn't create a circus around whatever the 'cause' the players are using as a reason, causes which divide people, nobody would make a big deal out of it.

I personally don't give a shit who stands/sings/put their hand over their heart or removes their hat, etc. I do it out of respect. But that's just me.

I would protest the protests of the protests of the protest by simply leaving everyone in the locker room, a la Tomlin. This is turning into a mental illness on both sides.

 

Damn, you have to have a mental illness to understand that sentence.

 

It means the anti-anthem people are going to protest against the pro-anthem people who were a response to the original three or four protesters. The superficially pro-anthem people are pouring more gas on the fire. I think this has all become superficial posturing by all parties.
