    It's hard to hate Nate...

    From today's Charlotte Observer:
    "I've always been competitive, I've always been in sports," Newton said on Dallas radio station KKDA. "I couldn't see myself not being the biggest dope man."

    I was never a Newton fan when he was playing for the 'Girls, but he was the guest at a Panther Talk show a few years back. During all the breaks, Nate performed hilarious comedy routines the likes of which no player guest before or after has ever done. Rosinski was speechless. It was a, ummmm, memorable experience.

    He must have been high as a kite. :D

    Don't forget that he played his last season right here in '99. That probably was when that show was.

    I know, I was there, it was at Red Hot & Blue in Matthews...

    Nate's stuff didn't go out on the air. That's probably a good thing.
