Maybe it's just me, but Dale Earnhardt, Jr should take on his father's number and even switch off sponsorships between Wrangler and GM Goodwrench to race in Cup races...Siding with Richard Childress Racing wouldnt hurt either.

Nawwww, it was the night of the three. Look at the Powerball drawing. 3 First number, 3 Powerball, 3 multiplier.....I should've played those numbers.....

NASCAR penalizes, fines Carl Edwards $25,000
    By RANDY COVITZ

NASCAR today took action against both Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski for their collisions during the final lap of last Saturday night's Nationwide Series race at Gateway International Speedway.

But Edwards, who won the race by shoving Keselowski into the wall near the finish, suffered the harshest penalties. Edwards, of Columbia, was docked 60 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship driver points, fined $25,000 and placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31. Edwards had served a three-week probation earlier this season after wrecking Keslowski in a Sprint Cup race at Atlanta.

Keselowski, the Nationwide Series points leader, was placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31.

The penalties come as a result of violating Section 12-1 -- actions detrimental to stock car racing/ aggressive driving -- of the 2010 NASCAR Rule Book.

Keselowski leads Edwards in the Nationwide Series standings, and the point deduction drops second-place Edwards from 168 points behind the leader to 228 points

i saw the race and kinda figured karl-karl was gonna do what he did after brad got him loose in turn one, on the last lap.

his penalties are laughable, but he seems to be held in some kinda regard by the big nascar higher-ups. most of his fellow competitors think he is a piece of shit, at least the one's who are willing to speak up.

wonder why they chose penalize brad keselowski?

I imagine he had been told, along with Mr. Ed, to cut the shit that's been going on between them. So, when he nudged him to make a pass they considered that too aggressive. Too bad these NASCAR guys can't "race" anymore.

I think Carl will always remember what Brad did to him at Talladega last year. And if anyone has every researched what Carl does for the underprivileged kids they will know he's definitely not a "piece of shit"
