Hung tough today all in front of, in the middle of, and at the back of the end zone. I didn't really pay attention to the level of talent that the defense had on the field at the time but he looked much more ready to play in this offense than Gettis and Armanti Edwards. Caught passes from Claussen and Newton.

Pilares had a great catch down the seam. It was a 25 yd rope that he caught going to the ground. The ball was threaded to him perfectly by Cam Newton.

You can see Edwards's athleticism but he didn't look like the 2nd or 3rd best WR yet. Ran the wrong route on a play with a pass from Newton.

Pike and Anderson did basically nothing at this practice. You can tell they are spending all their practice from here to Thursday getting Claussen and Newton ready for the NY Giants.

 

yeah, I liked Naanee. He doesn't look that thick or stiff in person.

looked like he was unable to get off the jam. i was thinking it more than 5 yds and shoulda been a flag. but then i'm rooting for him.

 

I am pulling for him too. I don't think it has clicked yet. Maybe by game six.
