    But you can't honestly tell me if there was such a fund that you wouldn't send in a $10 bill. I don't know you at all, but if someone took the time to post on a Panther message board, then I would assume they would be willing to contribute to the fund.

    What is the point? Salary cap is an artificial limit designed to protect small markets from large ones. It is not like they are lacking funds. And then creating some sort of other monetary source will then just breed another rift between the haves and have nots. Given that sort of system, Carolina would end up being a small market team that never gets a shot at the better players. No thanks
