also, I didn't know that Muhammad was the target of the infamous Kerry Collins racial slur.

OK - so was Garrido's knockout of KC after said slur the one good thing he did?

He would be the best hope to mentor Jarrett. Same type of reciever.
He's not a huge playmaker anymore, but he does at least require the safeties to give him at least a little respect. If we aren't looking for Jarrett's replacement (an impact starter), then we need the best tutor for the best price. Just my .02.

Booker wouldn't be that bad either honestly.

The thing about Moose is that he put up some crappy numbers here when we had Weinkie and Peete at QB. Once Jake hit his stride Moose was solid. Moose has put up crappy numbers in Chicago with Gross-man and the other misfits they have at QB. I think he could do well again if he were back here with Jake and Smith. I could see him putting up 1000 yard season pretty easily.

I think if Jakes arm is healthy, Moose could put up 1000 yards/game.

I think Moose can be a 1000 yard guy here. His quarterbacks in Chicago were absolutely terrible.

I think Moose is our key need. He fits, he likely wants to be here, we ( Hurney / Fox ) like him. Delhomme likes him. He should be reasonably priced - maybe even value priced due to the production in Chicago.

I really like a gameday roster of Smitty / Moose / Jarrett / Robinson.

The last time Moose had a solid qb throwing him the ball, he caught 54 balls for 915 yards and 12 TD's - IN EIGHT GAMES.

Comparison - Randy Moss did not suck, Oakland did. Moose is no Moss, but his play the past few years, IMO, is not indicative of his ability.
