i don't think it's hate.

 

Not hate, but I don't understand how people think that signing Moose for $1.5 million is not good for the team.

I see very limited downside to that, and very high upside.

 

don't either. The guy's going to be a starter, fills a need, comes cheap. Has been a captain here, always gave everything he had. When we figure out it's really, really cheap, there's people whining it's not cheap enough.

FWIW, Gantt says they're "turning their back to beloved veterans" because they released two guys they obviously needed to release. Doesn't matter that they supposedly offered Hoover a contract, or that there's a rumor we're signing Muhammad, which he neglects while apparently trying to lobby against signing him.

 

i think most of the stuff was before the dollar figure.

i hope he produces -- management obviously thinks we need WR help until these young guys get better.

there's no hate, it's just a major letdown... we let Key go to get younger and we sign a 35 yr. to take up a roster spot where we really need another play maker

plus didn't he lead the league in drops last year? or tie for it or something?

 

not in the least, no. I didn't see his name on the list when I looked, but I saw Smith's and Colbert's.

 

not the sane ones.

 

Moose at 65 with one foot amputated is still better than Colbert or Carter.....
