I disagree. But, you should disagree repeatedly over the next five minutes, it'll be better than the last 40 times.

King, but let's not use common sense here.

    I know.

I really don't see that much upside in him. You don't magically become a good blocker, and he tailed off at the end of the year. I see a lot more upside as a receiver in Rosario, and neither of them block worth a damn.

I realize you're just being an assclown, but come on. The guy doesn't have that much upside.

The question was "who has more upside?"

King does. I don't think he's ever going to be an all-pro TE, but you don't need an all-pro TE. You need a guy who is a solid receiver with good hands (King) and a good blocking TE (something we don't have yet, but we can get for less than what Crumpler will want).

It's funny how I'm being an assclown, yet still making the better argument.

I disagree on the good hands. He's average. Personally, I don't see anything especially good about him, he's Kris Mangum. And Mangum never got any better.

We don't need an all-pro, but we need to improve. Nobody gets a free pass and King isn't a core guy. It's not outrageous to believe that we can do better.

I guess the idea is that, if you didn't spend 99% of your time trying to be funny, you could be taken seriously. And no, I don't believe you're making the better argument.

I remember a few. Early in the season, and then later in the season he wasn't getting many targets.
