Seems like several teams are 4 deep at WR. Cincy comes to mind

    Okay, that's really funny.

I bet he couldn't take Dan Henning's O, all ten plays of it at a time. None of them were named Wilkins. I bet he kept looking around in the locker room for Reno.

Cincy is going to be beastly good once Marvin gets a D.

They are already pretty decent on O with Kitna. CJ. Warrick. Washington. That's as good as Pitts 3. They have the luxury of sitting Palmer, drill the O into that thick skull of his, a good line and running back. One year revamping the D and next year its on.

Hell, the way that division is going 8-8 could win it this year.

Tennessee is 20 million over the cap next year. Lets see if they let go one of their WR's

    They'll let go of George.

Titans have been 20 million over the cap for the last few years, and they get under without cutting more than a couple of aging guys. Part of it is overpaying for players like Godfrey. Even with a paycut they realised they could not keep him.

But now, out side of Eddie and Steve and Kearse who is that expensive? Rolle? Carter? I guess one of those two would go. Maybe both.

Top five salaries are McNair at $6.75 mil, Carter and Rolle at $4.5 mil, George at $4.25 mil, Fred Miller at $3.65 mil.

Expect Miller to go, George to restructure. George's signed through 2006, Miller through 2005.

Guess who's a free agent? Kearse. So's Brad Hopkins amongst their highest paid list.

Drew Bennett's listed for one year. Will be RFA, cost of nothing as he was undrafted.
He's a target. And not worth them putting the first round tender on.

If they could find something else, they might ship George given reports of their uphappiness. But I don't know anything about that contract.

    >>Drew Bennett's .... RFA, cost of nothing as he was undrafted.

    Great, except.

    >>And not worth them putting the first round tender on.

I dunnno. We tendered Reggie Howard. If not, yeah, that would work.

true, although Howard was a fulltime starter on a corner-poor team. That's one thing I do have faith in, we'll eventually fix the defensive secondary. We've just totally neglected the receiver position, in that we needed a healthy, productive starter by now, and should've drafted a guy to take over for Muhsin by now too.

Either way, there's another thing in our corner about Drew Bennett.

What is the 04 draft richer in WR or CB's
