That stick on Muhammad was #1 on Monday Night Countdown's "Jacked Up" list.

Since he has apparently already restructured and is making less than his original extension there is no way that he (and his fukin' agent) will take another cut. Until we can bring in (or develop a possible possession guy like Young) we will likely keep Moose . . . as overpaid as he may be. It wouldn’t make any sense to cut him UNLESS we grabbed an obvious upgrade in free agency and need all that ill-spent cash to get our new stud signed.

    In that case . . . :xyzwave:

The staff has always been high on him.

Didn't you mean to say.......he has always been high on the staff?

You have this all wrong. Restructuring does not equal a pay cut. He has not taken a pay cut.

He could make more next year, and we could save cap money.

    Example:

Rip up current contract. Give a 4 year, $12 million extension with a $4 million bonus. Make his first year salary $1 million, and he gets $5 million next year, and his cap hit goes down.

Another forgotten example of how we tried to bolster the receiveing corps this offseason.

Yeah - I have a feeling receiver will be high on the priority list.

Dyson, Proehl, Wilkins. That's alot of cheap actvivty - our only choice thanks to Giblet - to improve that position.

    I forgot about Wilkins entirely.

A 35 year old 4th receiver for the Rams, an injury case, and a guy who couldn't read a playbook. Oh, and a 7th round pick who we keep inactive.

We gotta actually spend for this to work. Actual receivers.

Fuck that. We need another guard. Maybe another center for good measure. :D

Oh man. Timmerman ripped into Wilkins on Bruno. I am not making this up. This is what Adam said.

Last year, everyone I'm sure heard of the troubles Wilkins had learning the playbook.

This was how bad it was.

Apparently, Martz was concerned about Wilkins and drew up some plays for him. One was called "Screen Wilkins." They work into the playbook all week.

Bulger gets into the huddle. He looks at Terrance, right in the eye. "OK, Screen Wilkins. On Two. Got that. Screen Wilkins. Break!"

    Wilkins runs a fade.

I wish the rest of the league would take pity on our shitty WR situation and a few stacked teams would each put one up for grabs for us.

Hmmm, Let's see. I’ll take Drew Bennett from the Titans and Joey Galloway from the Cowhos. Without being TOO greedy that would give us our #1 deep threat, a bad ass redzone threat and we would still have Smitty in slot. :D
