He has pretty much been a good "team line" guy but you gotta believe he is not happy with the focus on the run and SS and RP getting most of the plays.

Don't let the door hit you on the butt too hard on your way out, Moose. Might pull that hammy again.

The staff has always been high on him. I wouldn't be surprised to see an extension that dramatically reduces that cap figure.

This team would be alot worse without him. I'm not saying he's a stud - just that we need another receiver as it is, lose Moose and we need another TWO good receivers.

He got laid THE FUCK OUT yesterday. Ouch.

I see your point meat, but I disagree. Moose leaves, sure that's another receiver we gotta get. I'm of the mind that's what we need anyway. Moose has contributed so little that I would like to see someone else in his place. So yes, I would like to see TWO GOOD receivers brought in during the offseason. Preferably one's with speed that can take advantage of one on one coverage that they will inevitably see. I think we have a chance to (don't laugh) have an explosive downfield passing game due to the fact that teams MUST respect the run game, which opens up the long ball. Give me two more guys with SS's speed, we could really create some matchup problems for teams. I am really interested to see what Dyson does when he comes back.

    >>Moose has contributed so little that I would like to see someone else in his place.

Assuming that someone is used properly.

Agreed that Moose will likely go. He doesn't have the speed he used to, and he was never fast. And yet we try to set him up deep, and use Smith as a possession reciever. Likely because Moose has a height advantage. But a better idea is to use a possession reciever to his strength.

I do think the staff likes him. He doesn't hit teammates and generally has acted like a Pro under Fox. But that liking hasn't turned into production, for the most part because he doesn't fit this offense.

We will likely have cap room and one starting level FA. Then we bring a pick in.

    >>I am really interested to see what Dyson does when he comes back.

I'm actually awaiting this as well, but with different expectations. I said this when he was signed. Dyson is everything people complained about Moose, only worse.

Moose may have lost a step.

He may have a bad case of the "dropsies."

He may have lost his #1 WR position to Steve Smith.

    but...

He sure knows how to handle a paint roller. :D

(Can Dyson cover in one coat? I don't think so!)

True dat. Dyson was all the worst of Dan Morgan and Muhammad. I guess the eternally optimistic side of me hopes he's turned a corner. :(
