I can settle this "argument":

let's put a statue of Moose outside the stadium along with the Sam and McCormick statues.

He is down on the TD list, although Monk and Irvin didn't have a lot of carreer TDs either. Didn't know he was 14th in yards per game. He was fairly consistent. Always a #1 guy. The Monk supporters seem to point out that he was willing to defer so much for the team, which was a clever way of spinning the fact that he was never top recieving threat of any of the best Redskin teams.

Carreer stats mean less in the PFHOF than other sports, like baseball, which seem driven by them. Irvin is 40th in TDs, 17th in yards, 25th in receptions. He is 10th in yards per game. But at his best, which was about a five year period, he was a gamebreaker.

 

I think Jimmy Smith would eventually make the Hall of Fame if he had played in a bigger market.
