I'm all about getting an elite LT, but OLine is not the problem. Our QB sucks. He holds the ball too damn long. Holding the ball too long adds up over the course of the game. He pays the price for it too. Plus he missed a WIDE OPEN touchdown we were all cheering when we saw it we thought we were about to score... But nope. He sucks.

There is no "the problem" here. We are in dire need of a good LT, and we need a franchise QB. We also need a Center and at least one Guard. A new OC would be nice, and while we're at it I think I would like a pony.

The 2022 QB class is not being looked at too fondly. Not good for us.
The 2022 LT class is not great, but some can work. Possibly good for us.
The 2022 C class is pretty good. 2nd or 3rd rounder for us.
I do not know what we are going to do with the 14 Cornerbacks we have now, tongue in cheek, or the lost draft picks for them.

We don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick. If we stand pat with our pick, assuming it's somewhere between 10 and 16, I would be really happy with either Tyler Linderbaum (Iowa Center) or Ikem Ekwonu (NCSU LT).

This is a dangerous assumption, but I will be really surprised if Fitterer doesn't go after Duane Brown HARD in Free Agency.

This is not as good a QB class as last year, but it's not a terrible one either. I'm pretty sure a couple of the 2022 QBs will develop into good NFL players, but none of them look like first year starters. If we were to get Brown and somehow luck our way into decent line play next year, Darnold can play out his contract while a young QB develops and I would be plenty happy with that.

2018 was a 'strong' QB class. Rosen can't buy a roster spot. We get to see Darnold (who could've gone #1 according to some) up close every week. Mayfield is okay but limited. Allen and Lamar were the biggest risks and they look like they'll have the best careers.

some of the corners can go on offense for next season. they're skills match up better with Darnold's play style.

That's that passion we've always wanted. Steve Smith received compliments for attacking a teammate. Twice.

The Panthers at one time had some hard-ass assistant coaches that had a reputation of cussing and chewing players out.
Something tells me that they no longer have any of those kind of coaches on the staff.
It sounds like the OL could still use a coach like that.
They need a staff that won't tolerate any damn lolly-gagging or gold bricking.
They're playing like some real pussies who don't have to worry about playing time.
The time for Rhule to continue to coddle players is past.
