I think I'm in the very small minority in Panther nation that really feels bad for Morgan. Its not like concussions are something he can do anything about. I think he's getting ripped unfairly for his injuries. Let's hope this 5th concussion doesn't force him into early retirement. I'm pulling for him.

He's getting ripped because he's taking up loads of salary cap space for doing jack. Sure he COULD have been a very good/great player if not for his injuries but due to his condition he has not played enough to warrant the money we've given him :banginghe . He should look long and hard into retiring or giving some of that money back. Again, I realize its not exactly his fault but its like he hit the lottery of disability.

Well, if you're going to blame someone, blame Hurney/Fox for giving him the big contract. I don't begrudge any player getting what they can. And if you want him to give back salary for his play, then there's a lot of other players who should line up as well. I'm just saying how its amazing how much the guy gets ripped by his own fans. Its one thing if its a Chuck Smith who gets the $$s and doesn't contribute.

No, it's all on Hurney for that contract.

Dan needs to retire for his sake, not the teams.

I agree. Can't blame him for taking a big contract that he was given. I doubt he'd say, gee guys, I'm always injured, are you really sure I deserve all that money?

Just take the money and go retire in miami somewhere.

True, you can't blame a vagina for being a pussy. As for the rest, the best thing he can do for us and himself is to retire. I believe we'd get his absurd cap space back if he were to retire, and as someone else mentioned, I'd rather not see Earl Campbell-like stories of Morgan drooling and babbling incoherently by age 45. I wish him the best in the rest of his life.
