Yep. Wish he could work in some capacity with our younger receivers and teach them this

That is true but they would have had to play Smith a little more honestly if there had been something more dangerous than Keary Colbert across from him. The whole team was tired for that game. Your third road playoff game in three weeks combined with a cross country trip will do that I guess. Maybe Moose gets us one more win in the regular season so we are not a wild card and do not have to play three straight road playoff games? We will never know but it might have happened.

Moose was one of the best blocking receivers in the league. Yeah, I'd LOVE to have him on staff as a receiversw coach at some level. The "Shhhh pic" is one of my favorites.

When he shoved the defender down on that td run (SB) didn't the guy break his arm when he fell?

    doubt it happens.

although at this point it might be cool to be able to recognize one of our own with some sort of honor to their football accomplishments. as a player, mills' time here was a nice little postscript to a sterling career that started in the usfl and bloomed as a saint.

kasay is almost certain to get a statue. smith maybe.

The guy was a professional and not every player who gets a check in the NFL can truly say that. By all accounts he was a great teammate and he did and is doing some good stuff in the community. He's not a Hall of Famer but he is deserving of the Panthers Ring of Honor.

best case scenario...smith is posed menacingly punching the air. that way fans can get a photo of themselves being knocked the fuck out by 89, AND, we don't have to comprimise any integrity by having a lucas statue.
